COVID Protocols
We will be following the AGU Conference Center COVID-19 Protocols and Procedures. AGU requires that only fully vaccinated people attend in-person events at the AGU Conference Center, as recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control's vaccination guidelines. On a case-by-case basis, AGU may make an accommodation for attendees with federally-protected status or medical condition. If you are not fully vaccinated, please attend virtually.
Upon arrival, you will be required to:
  1. Present proof of full vaccination, along with corresponding identification.
  2. Sign an individual Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Claims document given to you upon arrival.
By attending in person you are self-certifying that you are not currently experiencing COVID symptoms. Anyone experiencing symptoms should attend virtually and consider self-testing. We will distribute free antigen rapid tests at registration upon request.
Masking
The latest update on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 Community Levels Map shows that the DC region is in LOW community transmission level. NASA guidance makes wearing a mask indoors optional. Even if masking isn't required, participants may always choose to wear a mask based on personal preference or assessment of personal risk. Please know that choice is fully supported.
Please consult the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security with your questions related to gatherings/events.
