[Click graphics to enlarge charts] The NASA Application Readiness Levels (ARLs) is an index adapted from the NASA Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) in order to track and guide application efforts of NASA funded projects such as those under the Carbon Monitoring System initiative. As part of the CMS Applications Team funded effort for 2013, the ARLs are used as a communication tool to give a clear picture of the current and projected “readiness” of each CMS projects’ involvement in decision-making and operational platforms. The CMS Applications Team effort has taken each PIs project objectives and linked them to the ARL index for CMS. For a detailed description of each ARL, see the NASA Applied Science ARL Schema. |
