  • NASA - Carbon All Around Us
We know that one-quarter of the carbon released from fossil fuel burning is taken up by vegetation and even the soil. But scientists are still trying to answer important questions about that process — and how it could change in the future. Watch to see how we’re developing new technologies and techniques to better monitor carbon uptake. Watch Video #EarthRightNow

  • In Memoriam: Molly Macauley
It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the recent loss of Dr. Molly Macauley. Molly was a friend, a colleague, and an influential scientist. She was a pillar in the formation of the CMS program, having a special role in both the project's development and function. She was a Science Definition Team Member, a Science Team Member, and an Invited Speaker at the first AGU Session on CMS held last year. Molly will be deeply missed.

RFF has set up a moderated webpage where people can submit their written tributes to Molly. >>
