About the TalkThe U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Climate Hubs develop and deliver sciencebased information and technologies to natural resource and agriculture managers to support climate-informed decision making, reduce agricultural risk, and build climate resilience. The Climate Hubs co-produce information with farmers, ranchers, foresters, extension, and other trusted community partners to deliver actionable, credible, and timely climate information that is useful, usable, and used. Through listening, knowledge sharing, and convening, the Climate Hubs bring lessons learned back to USDA agencies and their partners, and complete a cycle of learning and improved preparedness which can enhance resilience and productivity. This presentation will also highlight opportunities to engage with the Climate Hubs including areas to further integrate carbon data products in existing tools, data gaps and needs of our communities of practices, and potential collaborations with the NASA CMS community. |
