Helpful Lyft and Uber Ride Tips:
  • Wait to request your ride until after you have claimed your luggage at the baggage claim, or you have arrived on the ground level.
  • Ride app drivers should not solicit customers; payment is made through the mobile app.
  • Verify that the license plate, car make and model, and driver's name match what is in the app before you get into the vehicle.
  • Verify that the driver has the correct address for your destination. The Washington Hilton's address is 1919 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C. 20009 and the meeting venue's address (AGU Conference Center) is 2000 Florida Avenue, NW Washington, D.C. 20009.
Lunch
This year, AGU has provided the option for individuals to order their own lunch from Chopt through a provided QR code, and all lunches will be delivered to the conference center together. There is no delivery fee and each individual pays for their own lunch. This option is available to save you time during the lunch break and allow more time to connect and socialize with others. Other options include bringing your lunch, grabbing takeout from a nearby restaurant, or ordering ahead through a food delivery app.

Various seating is available throughout the conference center on the main floor and lower level lobbies, as well as on AGU's beautiful rooftop!
